The Registration for the Engadin Ultra Trail 2022 opens on 1st September 2021.


Participant registration and timing


The collection and management of participant data is done by Ovento GmbH, Pontresina and is based on their data protection regulations. The competition regulations are accepted with the registration. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance when you register.


The registration is final


A route change to a shorter distance is possible until July 10, 2022 and only in exceptional cases. Any entry fee difference will not be reimbursed. A starting place change to another person is also possible until July 10, 2022. A fee of CHF 30.00 will be charged to the new runner for a transfer. Starting numbers will be allocated in the first week of July.


Cancellation of registration


In the event of cancellation of their registration, the participant has no right to a refund, regardless of the reason.


Cancellation / change / termination (Covid 19 regulations see below)


If the race is canceled by the organizer for reasons other than security or force majeure, part of the registration fee will be refunded to the participant.
It should be noted that in the event of a change or interruption of the route for safety reasons (especially in bad weather conditions) or due to force majeure, no refund will be given.


Physical condition


A very good physical condition and experience in trail running is a prerequisite for mastering the EUT 102, EUT53, ET23 and ET16 routes. In addition, every participant must be able to complete the routes in accordance with the ethics of trail running in partial autonomy. The organizer reserves the right to exclude persons from participation.




Optionally, insurance can be taken out when registering online, in which case the registration fee is reimbursed in the event of a legal withdrawal from participation.


The competition regulations are accepted with the registration. We reserve the right to make changes. Changes are communicated early on. The German competition regulations are authoritative. Furthermore, the data protection regulations of our data processor apply.



Covid-19 regulations


No Covid certificate is required. Participants are encouraged to attend the event in good health and without symptoms.

Wearing a mask is mandatory in all indoor rooms accessible to the public during the entire event. Participants are obliged to have their own face masks with them. Masks do not have to be worn outdoors. The distance rule of 1.5 meters must be respected. The block starts will take place as whole categories - the spacing rules must be observed!

Showers will remain closed in accordance with the Swiss Running recommendation. The massage service is not available.

Should the Engadin Ultra Trail still not take place in 2022 due to Covid-19, the entry fee will be carried over in full to 2023 or 80% repayment of the entry fee is possible.

Participation / start number + Share of accommodation costs


Athletes with an ITRA index over 800 (for men) and over 700 (for women) have the opportunity to get a free participation / start number and an a contribution to the overnight stay. 


Participation / starting number free of charge


Athletes with an ITRA index between 750 and 800 (for men) and between 650 and 700 (for women) have the opportunity to get a free participation / start number.


The elite competitors undertake to:

- to stand at the front of the starting field according to the instructions of the volunteers;
- attend press conferences and official ceremonies to which they are invited;
- to be present at awards ceremonies that concern them;
- to be at the start line at least twenty minutes before the start;

- to properly mention the Engadin Ultra Trail in their social media work;
